Junior Registration 2022
To the Morphettville Park Football Club Family.
I am Darryl Smith and I have taken on the role as Junior Football Director at the Roos. My role will be to oversee the running of the Juniors at our club, increasing participation and will incorporate both girls and boys teams.
My experience comes from being a player, broadcaster, administrator and coach since I played my first game for Unley Primary School in 1968 and have been involved with the PHOS Camden Junior Football Club as a Committee member and Junior Director since 2008. I am a Level 2 AFL accredited coach and have been continually involved with football for 54 years.
As I get to know you all and you get to know me, I will commit to work tirelessly to get as many young boys and girls playing at our club. The Roos are coming off a fantastic season in 2021 with 4 Premierships and serves as a great platform for the future, hence this email.
Registrations for juniors are now open for the 2022 season for existing members and if you or your child are intending to play in 2022 please register via the below Link.
The AFL have changed the software we use to register players so please use the below direct link and hit the get started box and then follow the step by step instructions to register.
The registration process is very simple and will take less than a couple of minutes. I am asking you to do this, so I and the club can be ready for the upcoming season, you may say that is a mile off and you may be right, but as I am hoping, if we get an influx of new players, which brings new teams, the Club will then need to get new equipment, jumpers etc and this all takes time. The Club is hoping to field teams in the under 7s, 8s, 9s, 11s, 12s, 13s, 14s, 16 and 17.5 for boys and girls. We are very confident in getting the numbers for these teams.
When registering you can claim your 2022 sports voucher at the check out screen. note: Sport Vouchers have increased their coverage to be $100 for 5- 15yr olds.
We are genuinely excited for 2022 so if you have any friends or know of anyone who are also interested in playing who may be new to the game or looking for a change of scenery from where they currently play, please pass on my details or send me theirs, and I will certainly make contact with them.
So now please take the time to register as the registration window closes on the 30th of November for 2021 and then won’t reopen until February of 2022.
